Spring 2012 fashion trends are showing alot of the vintage influence and classic elegance. One of our favorites is the cameo which is on the comeback trail. (see Lanvin Pre-fall 2012) The contemporary interpretations are still true to their vintage appeal. The creative ideas are lovely and add a bit of history.
Cameo brooches and oversized pendants are being worn with something contemporary – a modern twist on the past. They are artfully appearing in other places too – shoe clips, bridal bouquets, event placesettings, celebration cakes, cupcakes and cookies. The ideas are endless.
Rummage through your grandmothers' jewellery box or keep a vigilant eye out at the next contents sale to find yourself one of these 2012 vintage bestsellers. Give the 'old news' a new beginning.
